A war memorial of Ham Hill stone and white marble is set in the North wall of the aisle of the parish church of St Aldhelms. It was designed by the Rector, Lionel S. Plowman, and was made by Messrs. Norman of Blandford, paid for by subscriptions from Belchalwell parishioners. The memorial was dedicated at a special service on the 20th January, 1920, by the Venerable Archdeacon of Dorset.
