A set of Overseers Accounts for the Parish of Hammoon exist from the year 1716 to 1836, they are deposited at the Dorchester Record Office and have been filmed by the LDS Film No. 1526223. These extracts have been transcribed from the film, they are not a complete transcript as the copy I had was of poor quality and often illegible. There has been no effort made to correct spellings or the variations in names. Lynda Mudle-Small, April 2003.
